Pieces of net or rope (< 5mm) are one of the most common types of waste found at sea or on beaches.<\/p>\n

When repairing trawl nets, there are several tricks that can be used to prevent scraps from ending up in the sea.<\/p>\n

At the quayside, for example, trawl nets can be repaired on a tarpaulin.
\nOn board, the Sacabout, a pouch that attaches to the belt, can be used to collect scraps of net cut during repairs.<\/p>\n
